Ta'be-el (Hebrew meaning - God is good) opened its doors on April 5, 1993, by Mrs. Therisia Wolmarans. Tabeel was sold to the late Rev. Davis Booker in 1996. The current owners, Dries and Elmarie de Beer, bought Tabeel in 2007.

This unique store specializes in a wide variety of books including fiction, non-fiction, recipe books, Daily devotionals, Christian lifestyle and Bibles.

Tabeel also provides a large selection of children's books for all ages that including activity books. Additionally, Tabeel provides a wide variety of writing supplies, office essentials like till and credit card rolls and back to school needs.
